Lewistown Hospital provides a variety of nutrition education services for outpatient as well as inpatients. The outpatient nutrition counseling service is conducted by our registered dieticians and is available to patients who need a personal nutrition plan for:
- diabetes
- weight management
- high blood pressure
- hyperlipidemia
- cancer
- prenatal care
Patients are required to obtain a referral from their primary care physician. Patients are encouraged to check with their insurance company regarding coverage.
