Lewistown Hospital's Nutrition Services provides a varied menu for patients, visitors, and staff. Guest trays are available for patient visitors and may be requested by calling (717) 242-2054.
The Hospital Eatery is open to the general public and is located on the Third Floor of the hospital. Operating hours are from 6:00am - 7:00pm daily.
Breakfast is available from 6:30am - 10:00am, hot lunch is served from 11:00am - 1:15pm, and dinner is served from 4:00pm - 7:00pm daily. Salad, soup and sandwich bars are open from 10:30am - 7:00pm daily.
Lewistown Hospital provides a variety of nutrition education services for outpatient as well as inpatients. The outpatient nutrition counseling service is available to patients who need a personal nutrition plan for diabetes, weight management, high blood pressure, hyperlipidemia, cancer, prenatal care, and many other conditions with special nutrition needs.
Patients are required to obtain a referral from their primary care physician. Patients are encouraged to check with their insurance company regarding coverage.
