Employee Assistance Program

Employee Assistance Program:
A full-time or part-time employee becomes eligible for the Employee Assistance Program after successful completion of the employee's probationary period.  This program provides a wide range of resources for the employee and immediate family members, and also provides up to six hours of counseling for the employee and for each of the employee's eligible dependents every plan year.  This program is paid for by the organization.

Educational Assistance:
After successful completion of an employee's probationary period, the organization reimburses 75% of a full-time employee's tuition for approved job related courses.  For part-time employees the reimbursement is 37.5%.  Employees must receive a grade of "C" or higher.  The maximum annual reimbursement is $1000.

Uniform Allowance:
An annual uniform allowance is provided to employees who are required to wear uniforms by Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital. This benefit is paid for by the Hospital and is available to full-time and part-time employees after one year of service.
