Audiology
 The Lewistown Hospital Rehabilitation Services Audiology Department provides hearing assessment and the non-medical management of hearing problems.
Audiology services include:
- Tests
- Complete hearing testing for all ages from infancy to the golden years
- Central auditory testing - (Audiologic site-of-lesion testing)
- Central auditory processing testing (CAPS)
- Visual evoked potential testing (VEP)
- Somatosensory testing (SSEP)
- Brainstem Auditory Evoked Response (BAER)
- Aids & Devices
- State-of-the-art hearing aids
- 30-day trial period on new hearing aids
- Hearing aid repair for all makes and models, including Beltone and Miracle Ear
- Assistive listening devices
- Individual auditory training systems
- Selection and fitting
- Classroom amplification systems
- Selection, installation and monitoring
- Counseling
- For individuals experiencing hearing loss to help function more effectively in social, educational and occupational environments.
